Old Klezmers/Alte Klezmorim is a research blog by Dan Carkner. I am a Canadian historian, library technician and klezmer enthusiast. I created the Youtube channel ClassicKlezmer although I no longer update it. Since 2019 I have been working to document the lives of American and European klezmer musicians on Wikipedia. I decided to create this blog in 2023 to develop my writing on other aspects or topics of klezmer history and biographies.
